Singin' & Dancin'

Check out these videos of Mason. If you only have time for one, watch the second video. The first is of his Spring Program at pre-school. He attends the pre-school at our church two days a week. They were singing and dancing to "The Bumblebee." You may have to click on the play button in the middle of the screen and then again on the one at the bottom.

This video is...well, it explains itself. This was taken a few months ago and I just haven't shared it yet.

Swim lessons

Did anyone notice the date from my last post? More than a month ago! So, now you can see how good I am going to be at keeping up with this blogging thing.

Anyway...Mason has been taking swim lessons and is loving it!




Below is a video of him learning to float on his back. Some days he needs help and some days he can do it on his own for about a minute (once for two minutes). Eventually, he will take a float test where they will toss him in the water, fully clothed (shoes and all), and he will have to float on his own for five minutes. The idea is that he will know what to do if he ever fell into the water (which, by the way, he did fall in this week and his little legs kicked so hard but the instructor pulled him up before he had a chance to show us if he could do it by himself).




In this next video, you'll see Mason coming into the water from the left. The instructor counts to 4 and Mason rolls onto his tummy and turns back onto his back. Normally he needs help with this, but I just happened to get this video of him doing it pretty much on his own!

It's Finally Time to Blog!

Mason is almost 3 years old and we are FINALLY starting a blog! I know, we're behind the times. I figure since so many of you ask for pictures all the time and I haven't emailed any out in a while, my first few posts will be to help you get caught up to where we are today.
