The calm before the storm...

Friday night, the night that Hurricane Ike rolled in, we saw the true meaning of "the calm before the storm." We let Mason stay up a little later than usual that night so we could all enjoy the beautiful night. We hung out in our driveway for a little while just looking at the sky and feeling the wind starting to build up. These pictures were all taken within maybe 20 minutes of each other. In the second, you can start to see the clouds moving in from the hurricane.

27 weeks...

27 weeks down...13 to go. Actually, 12 weeks to go because we now have a date set for the delivery...December 3. Mason's delivery ended in a c-section, so this one will also be a c-section delivery. I guess scheduling it a week early is an attempt to avoid going into labor. Many people have asked if I'm disappointed that I have to do a c-section. Not really! I don't care how our baby girl gets here...as long as she is happy and healthy. It will actually be nice to not go through 12 hours of trying to deliver, only to end up having a c-section anyway. (that is what happened with Mason). I am just hoping the recovery is a little less eventful this time.

This picture was taken the day that Carlton and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary (a week late, actually). I don't think my belly has changed much in the last couple months but I think that is because I started showing so early. I am sure that in the next couple months, I'll get HUGE just like I was with Mason!

No name picked out yet...
