Brooke is 15 months

Our sweet Brooke is 15 months old! How time flies! Her "waddle" walk is old news and she is now quickly getting around everywhere. She is such a happy toddler...that is, if it's before 5:00 pm. Believe it or not, that is about the time she gets cranky for bed! She is definitely a morning kid (so far) as she goes to bed around 6:00 and wakes up between 5:00 and 6:00 (this morning at 4:45 am!) She loves being outside and spending time with her big brother. But she is also very independent and plays well by herself when Mason is at Pre-K. Of course, that time is also a good time for some Mommy and Brooke time, too! I am taking her to her first "free trial" Kindermusik class next week so we'll see how that goes. She LOVES music and dancing. Other random info...She now has 16 teeth (including her 4 molars) and has the cutest, biggest belly :)

I took her to her 15 month appointment today.
She is growing a bit, now measuring 29 inches tall (11%)
and weighing in at 23 lbs (54%).
In other news from the past month, my mom came to visit and we all had a great time together. Mason showed her his skills in tennis...a new sport he has shown interest in over the last year.

We all had a really nice Valentine's weekend. Carlton sent me these beautiful flowers on Friday, and then he surprised me with a night out that evening...a nice dinner and tickets to the MercyMe concert. They are awesome in concert and if you ever get a chance to see Jonny Diaz in concert, he's very entertaining. He opened for them, along with Phil Wickham.

Then, on Sunday, we spent the actual day of Valentine's Day with the family.

Oops...should have zoomed in on this one.

What am I going to do next year when Mason goes to kindergarten?
He is my free entertainment for Brooke :)

Just a picture of Mason's hair getting longer.
Otherwise, goofy picture of our goofy boy!
This month, Mason's school has been learning about community helpers. We all met up on a "non-school" day at the firestation to learn about firemen.

And today, the kids got to dress up as community helpers. Thank you, Valerie, for letting us borrow Jack's fireman outfit! Worked out perfect!
Thanks for stopping by :)
